Question lifecycle
From dark to measured — one honest ladder per question.
Every question HER2T tracks climbs the same eight rungs. Each rung only lights up when a real record backs it — a mined paper, a proposed hypothesis, a deterministic computation, a frozen prediction, a cited measurement. Unreached rungs say plainly what is missing. The last two rungs need a real lab result, so most questions honestly stop at the decisive experiment.

Nothing here is invented. Reached rungs cite a real record and carry a provenance tag (inferred, computed, simulated, measured, or expert). Where a rung is bridged to a prediction or computation by matching the mutation it names, it is marked a heuristic link. HER2T never equates “we generated it” with “it is measured or true.”
