The four gates a lead must survive
Must be a genuine unresolved contradiction between two independently-mined claims.
Is the conflict real, or an artifact of framing? Artifacts are held back.
Are both sides backed by real experimental evidence, not review or opinion?
A dedicated PubMed search asks: is this already reported? Independently generated ≠ novel.
Every machine judgment here — the conflict, the hypothesis, the novelty verdict — is provenance-tagged “inferred” and is a lead for expert review, not a validated finding. A lead surviving all four gates means it is worth a specialist’s time, not that it is correct or new. Expert verdicts are stored as human “expert” provenance alongside — never overwriting — HER2T’s original reasoning.
